Individuals or legal entities with tax residence in Brazil, holding US $ 100,000.00 (US dollars) on, or other currency equivalent to this amount, must report the movement of capital abroad annually,and, USD 100.000.000,00 on, or other currency equivalente to this amount must report quarterly, according to the following:
 Deposits held in foreign currency abroad
 Loans Currency
 Direct Investment
 Investment Portfolio
 Investments in derivative financial instruments
 Other investments including acquisition of real estate

Failure to comply with the legal time limits, or the non-declaration or false, inaccurate or incomplete declaration is subject to penalty by the normative authority.
